The Army History Directorate (AHD) constitutes an organic Directorate of the Hellenic Army General Staff (HAGS) acting on A' Deputy Chief of Staff orders.

AHD is composed of:

• The Director
• The Deputy Director
• The Secretariat
• The Publications Service which includes the 1st and the 2nd Departments.
• The Historical Archive Service which includes the 3rd and the 4th Departments.
